I am a geographer with a post-graduate diploma in Wildlife Management and a master's degree in Water and Coastal Management. Additionally, I am a lecturer at the Universidade Eduardo Mondlane (Mozambique) affiliated to the College of Tourism and Hospitality
My research interests cover the broad analysis of tourism development processes and projects, climate change vulnerability from a social perspective and the role of climate change in shifting species distribution and its impact on the genetic structure and diversity As a PhD student, I am focused on the role of climate change in shifting the geographical distribution of African savannah elephants (Loxodonta africana) from a range-wide perspective and multiple periods and its potential impacts on the genetic structure, diversity and connectivity of the species My thesis work is done at the Programa de Pós-graduação em Ecologia & Evolução of the Universidade Federal de Goiás (Brazil), based at the Conservation Biogeography Lab |
